Thursday, May 13, 1880, Emma Aurelia LEAKE, at Sedalia, Mo., dau. of James Payton and Mary Hane (Rogers) Leake. She b. Sept. 14, 1858, Greenfield, Ohio. Her father James Leake, was b. in Albermarle Co., Virginia, 1817; d. in Sedalia, Mo., 1890. He was a son of Robert Sharpe and Nancy (Heasted) Leake. Her mother, Mary Jane Rogers, was b. in Greenfield, Ohio, in 1822; mar. Sept. 16, 1846, dau. of Thomas Rogers, b. Oct. 19, 1782, London Co., Va., and wife, Nancy Watt. He was son of William Rogers, b. June 8, 1750, Bucks Co., Pa., and Phoebe (Stewart) Rogers. He was s. of Hamilton Rogers and Mary Mains, son of William and Jane (Hamilton Rooney) Rogers, a widow, who came to America about 1720 and settled at Philadelphia.
Mr. Maltby (1915) was Pres. and Mgr. of Maltby Coffee Co., of Sedalia, Mo. His son, Harold, is a member of the same company. He d. Apr. 11, 1928, at Sedalia. (Records by his son Harold).
